Dan Grade Syllabus 2000 - 2002

Requirements:
A grading application fee of £ 15.00 will be collected from all candidates prior to the examination.  Candidates are required to wear a clean white gi, and to bring sparring mitts plus a pen for the written test. Applicants must have a record of having attended a Referee/Judges course within the last 12 months.  It is understood that some of the above requirements may differ slightly from country to country, especially with regard to the member's license.

Time in grade requirements are:
SHODAN:   Regular practice as 1st Kyu minimum 9 months
NIDAN:       Regular practice as Shodan minimum 18 months
SANDAN:   Regular practice as Nidan minimum 3 years
YONDAN:  Regular practice as Sandan minimum 4 years

Registration of Dan Grade 
(Fee payable by successful candidates only):
SHODAN £90       NIDAN £100       SANDAN £110       
YONDAN £130    GODAN £140

KIHON TSUKI, KERI (all grades):
1. Kette Junzuki 2. Kette Gyakuzuki
3. Kette Junzuki no Tsukomi 4. Kette Gyakuzuki no Tsukomi
5. Nagashizuki 6. Jodan Mawashigeri
7. Chudan Ushirogeri 8. Surikomi Jodan Sokuto
 
RENRAKU WAZA (all grades):
1. Surikomi Migi Gyakuzuki Jodan, Migiashi Zenshinshite, Hidari Gyakuzuki Chudan, Surikomi Migi Sokuto Chudan, Hidari Ushirogeri Chudan, Hidari Uraken Jodan.

2. Surikomi Hidari Jodan Tobikomizuki, Renzuki Migi Gyakuzuki Chudan, Surikomi Hidari Maegeri Chudan, Hidari Nagashizuki Jodan, Migi Mawashigeri Chudan.

3. Mawatte Migi Uraken Jodan, Renzuki Hidari Gyakuzuki Jodan, Hidari Mawashigeri Chudan, Migi Ushirogeri Chudan, Hidari Gyakuzuki Chudan.
