---------------------------------------!Update -
25th September 2006!---------------------------
Dear Everyone,
Great News about the Japan Trip 2007! You still Have the chance to book
!!!!!
After a lot of consideration ( and
a lot of phone calls to Japan ! ) my
husband
managed to arrange a £300 discount for the land fee in Japan, so instead
of paying £1500 you can now pay £1200 per person. I know this must have
been a lot of money for most of you to pay, so £300 less , we hope can be
of help. We had to make some changes in the itinerary though, to make it
possible. So you must pay the second deposit as it has been scheduled for
the end of September, and pay £300 less for the last deposit in January.
I haven't book the
tickets yet, I'll wait till after the European Championship in Holland in
order to give people the chance to rethink if anyone else would like to go
with us, now that the fee is cheaper. So you still have some time to
decide if you would like to attend the trip. In this case please feel free
to contact me to arrange how you should pay the deposit for the trip, but
I will need to know about it, till the Europeans. I have to book the
flight tickets immediately after I return back to London, because living
it too late can be risky not to find enough seats on the same plane, or
cannot get the flight is most suitable for us. I will need to be 100% sure
about the number of people who are going to flight from London to Osaka
other wise it is not possible to book the tickets, I hope you understand
this, and reply to me ASAP.
The more of us that
travel together the cheaper the ticket will be. If we are not enough, it
will affect the prices.
People who are travelling from their own countries to Japan, still have to
pay deposits for the land fee, and I will also need to know the latest
till the middle of October and have deposits been paid as well. Please
contact me if you have any questions.
Important: As soon
as the flight tickets are arranged we will inform you, so you can book
your own tickets to go to London, or directly to Japan for those leaving
from USA, Canada, or Australia, but please don't do it before I give you
the okay.
Hope to hear from
you!
Regards, Eleni

Dear All,
I'm pleased to announce our federation's trip to Japan scheduled for
April 2007. The dates are not fixed yet, but it is going to be around
the second week of April, and we are going to stay there for 2 weeks. I
believe that most of you have already got the draft version of the
itinerary while you were in Texas for our world championships. Those
who haven't got it, please let me know and I will send it to you by
post/fax.
We are flying to Osaka (KANSAI KOKUSAI AIRPORT) and then we are
planning to visit: Kyoto, Nara, Iwakuni, Takayama, and many other
beautiful places around those main cities.
There will be two main training sessions scheduled while there, but for
those who wish to have some extra training, we are willing to arrange
some more optional sessions.
The returned flight from London to Osaka will cost approximately £600
English Sterling (including airport taxes).
The land fee will be £1500 approximately, including hotels,
transportation, and most of the meals.
We are going to collect 50% of the money, by June 2006. I have to
stress out that this is going to be a very strict dead line so please
make sure you make the first payment before the end of June 2006, so we
can arrange the bookings. Any late payment will not be accepted. The
rest of the money will be collected in February 2007.
Please note that the deposit is not refundable.
Anyone who plans to leave from London, should pay £1050 English
Sterling. (half the ticket price and half the land fee)
The rest of you, who would be departing from your own country and would
be making your own flight arrangements should make a payment of £750
English Sterling .
Details of the Bank Account where you should make the payment, will be
forward to you next week.
I will appreciate if you let me know as soon as possible if you are
going to be joining us on this trip, so we can have a clear idea of how
many people we should be making arrangements for. I would also need to
have some information from all of you travelling to Japan, such as,
full name, date of birth, sex, nationality and full contact details, to
enable me to make the bookings. I would appreciate if you let me know
if you have any special requirements about the trip or during our stay
in Japan. I would also need to know if you would be sharing rooms, and
if so please state the names of the people whom you'll be sharing with.
Please feel free to bring any family members or friends with you, but i
wouldn't advice in bringing very young children along, since we will be
travelling quite a lot so it will not be suitable for small kids. If
you do wish to bring your child along please confirm with me first.
Please pass this information to other members of your club /
organisation who might be interested in joining us.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Thank you,
Yours,
T. Suzuki, Eleni, Jon Wicks
